Return To Play

Return to Play

As an athlete, pre-injury, your body was prepared for sport-specific forces, velocities, and impacts. Post-injury, your body is now ill-prepared to handle those same forces, velocities, and impacts. The goal of return-to-play (RTP) is to be better than the level of play where your injury occurred, both mentally and physically. To be prepared to meet those demands, your RTP program must include strength training, speed training, change of direction, agility, jumping, and landing. Practitioners & Coaches at Speed Mechanics diligently work with each athlete to elevate confidence and preparedness for RTP. Speed Mechanics genuinely believes an athlete must be prepared to return to play without hesitation.
